I tried V2 and V3 and loved them both.

Now i use V4.
And i'm testing some stuff.

I'm making items, well not making them... But i use Truice to modify existing items to make it right, and to not get the red "?" icon and stuff.

But there is a little problem..

Under the Database Table "Item_Template" there is no "Armor" tab.
So i cant decide what armor that items should have.

Can anyone help with that?

Great to hear your positive feedback!
Well for the specefic armor part, I guess you can just create the item in Truice, and afterwards go to Item_Template and select the item, and update the armor in this specefic column:
ArmorDamageModifier

The repack looks great , but what shape are the goblin and worgen areas in? these areas seem to be the worst in every repack I've tried and is there alot of support for this 4.3.4 repack?

First I have to say this repack looks like a Solid Piece of Work. Great job!

having said that is there any chance of fixing the dwarves starting area? with the NPC's running around killing all the troggs it's difficult to get started in that area lol

:cool: I did a quick tests of the two areas. I think for the Worgen, I can say that at least 75% of quests and scripts are functional. Some require the command ".quest complete" to continue, and another (one of the largest) to pass over the Gilneas door to keep moving forward in the area (for the next quest: http: //www.wowhead. com / quest = 24438 / exodus). But overall, it's a great job! And for the Gobelins area, I have not fully tested, but it seems to work very well; more accomplished than the Worgen.

For the quests in general, in other areas, it is very clean; still some scripts/phasing problems (a lot in Cataclysm) , but nothing that prevents a hero to evolve and enjoy the game. I think, the great strength of this repack are the instances and raids. I did some tests (Hellfire Peninsula / Blackrock moutain) and it's quite nice!

I think you can download it and enjoy :) Personally, I made some adjustments in the "world.conf" file to be able to do alone dungeons and raids and is excellent! And I think taking VIP access in some time :) (Sorry for my bad English, i'm French :) )

Just a tip : in BWLair ;

Nefarian is not selectable ; The script is ok, but in dragon form, he's not attackable :eek:. Not a real problem !

- Download Truice or a database editor (or you can find the trigger by yourself in the DB),
- Find him and, on Truice if you have it :

- Deselect "Not Selectable" and execute script in script tab'

- Restart the World console, clean your cache !

GUys I need your help! I've already setup my own server..but i have a problem regarding client side. Do I need to change something in my WoW.mfil?? Because when I try to change the part "location" into my localhost like this --> location=http://127.0.0.1/ ,when I am going to create a new character, the images of characters won't show! Is it really need to connect online to make it work??? Im hoping for your suggestions and comments

If your Cata client is not complete, you must stay online to download required files when you play. The repack is set to local by default. For the client side, just modify in the WTF/Config file the second or third line on top like this --->



Have fun !!! :)

Hey everyone. Not sure if This is the right place to ask but I can't figure out what to do. Every time I launch, MYSQL works fine. AUTH works fine. Then I start world. Nope. Closes instantly without giving me an error or anything. Looks just like it would if i just closed it with the mouse. It just stops and closes within seconds. I googled how to resolve this issue. Every thing says "look for the error" and then do this. I'm not being given an error. It just quietly closes. I'd really appreciate any help I can get on this. I'm really anxious to get started. I followed to video as best I could, some things are minorly different, being that i don't have certain things he did or I have things he doesn't...anyway. I really can't figure out what is wrong. I'd check the log to see what error it is, but I don't have a log folder. At all.

Is there a change log for the VIP release that we can view? I plan to donate and get the upgrade either way but would be nice to see :)

hello there Hyldran0, from my experience on cata you have to simply edit item lvl that changes items armor or dmg if its a weapon. higher the item lvl, more dmg/armor you can do this through truice too :D
