I think they are actually just trying to up the amount of replies and views to this thread to show even more popularity, as you can purchase v6, and they do deserve to make money from their great work, however there seems to be a bit of deceit going on here.

Im definitely thankful for all they do, but they shouldn't be blatanty lying so people will feel forced to check here more often (thus gaining more views without any clue when it really is going to be released)

Actually this is not the case. I've never released it through views before this time, and it was not meant as a lie, but unfortunately it hit 200K at monday, and I had to move place for two weeks without being able to back-up the V5 files which were set to release. Because of that I had to wait until I got back to the PC, which I am now. It's not a money project, and it has never been, it's just an additional feature for people wanting a little more/faster fixes and features who wants to support the project a little further. (Keep in mind it also pays hosting, domain/marketing, developer resources and more)
