What a great idea! Heck, since I answer on forums since 2003 as an MVP, I could probably have my own community in days! And I was just giving it away on forums and newsgroups. I wish I thought about exploiting my answers, but I was just giving it away for free to anyone.
I thought, since when I needed help I just found it lying around maybe I should do the same.
But hey, at least you have a great community here. 1.4 posts per registered user. Such vibrance. I joke of course. One user has 2700 posts.
At least you're having fun. Require people to register and tell their opinion, then ban them for it. It's OK. You can ban me too. I'm not upset. You can Google my answers and use them for free.
I'm sorry, "leach" my answers.
Wikipedia must be giving you nightmares.
As I've said before, the point is for people to say thanks, and to show their appreciation.
We don't care about post count. Is it really that hard to say "thanks for posting this" or "thanks for the help"?
And what about googling your answers? A lot of times people come to this thread for the answer, from Google. If people find the answer elsewhere, then there's no problem with that. We're even happy they found the answer, and there problem is solved.
So no, Wikipedia is not causing any problems. We only require you to register/post to say thanks, if and only if, you need something from our site.
I did not ban you for posting your opinion. There's a reason your first post is still there, because it did not violate any rules. I banned you because you posted the hidden content, which is against the rules.
Now, please don't post useless arguments not even related to the thread.
