Thanks!

Hello this tutorial will fix the "your trial period has expired" error you get on teamviewer, if you follow the steps and do it correctly.
I will keep it as short as possible, to not make it look confusing.

In case you wonder why you get that error and others don't; It's because you have selected the default option ‘For Commercial Use’ BUT you should have selected ‘For Personal Use’

Anyways, I'm here to fix that up for you. Credits goes to google and myself.

Step 1: ***Hidden content cannot be quoted.***

-- And it's now working, if you have done everything correctly - Enjoy!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Let's see if this works

E: yes well, it totally doesn't. It's a 4 step process but step 3 is missing and it doesn't go further than anything you can find via google without creating an account. Don't join this forum for this fix, it doesn't work!

This is an old post, and hasn't been updated in a while. The problem is a very simple fix, but before I get into that, I want to address something you said. This fix is not the only reason to join the forums. There are many other reasons, such as, the wonderful community here at EmuCoach will help you with your problem as long as it's in their knowledge. For example, I will help you in this situation, or anyone else who comes here:

This is a very simple fix, and only meant to show you how to fix a problem that the user created during install. No, I'm not insulting you, but what I'm saying is, during the install of Teamviewer, you chose a wrong setting by accident, and this tutorial shows you how to fix it.
Step 4 SHOULD be step 3, I'm guessing ExO made a mistake in typing it. Everyone makes mistakes. If they didn't, then this tutorial wouldn't be here.
Please don't insult the forums, or our admin, with something this simple. It's disrespecful, especially after he posted this solely to help the people who aren't techn savvy.

For anyone else thinking this tutorial is bad, or isn't correct, ect:
You must remember, this post is old. I don't know how Teamviewer's settings upon installation are, but I'm pretty sure they're still the same. Please, read through the instructions and try them out before complaining. Just because Step 4 should be Step 3, it doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Quick note to everyone who doesn't want to read all of that: Yes, the tutorial works. Yes, there's a mistake in the step numbering.
