a good Repack and quests working a huge number of pleased me, but in the soul of the dragon portals don't work((( so the RAID did not go through ultracision not kill is not active. Team .npc add adds just the inactive texture ultracision

is there any way to get the database .sql files to use on my own sql server? (I've already tried mysqldump, but a lot of the data comes out wrong). By the way, great repack! Thanks for sharing!

okay, almost about to give up on this, i have built mangos servers years ago with more ease than this repack..

WHERE IS THE HOW-TO? / instructions?
first page has 5 downloads at #1
then at #2 is ONE sql file (v 2.0?) that is an 'update', what do i do with this?
at the bottom of post #2 is the v1.0, this is the only link to the _SERVER, must have the mysql bits, again, where's the tutorial?

i download everything, unzip it all, try 50 different ss* and libea*.dll files since no single one is listed WITH the release as is 'use this', (or this) all only 'try this' from archived threads...

next, v1.0 under the _server thread, is running, sits there as per the u-tube video

next, where is ANY of the client info? it is all buried in random support, nothing about HOW-TO top-level, most say 'download one', or 'use a patched wow.exe', what are these nowadays and where? how does one find one? nothing linked with the release or any tutorial i can see... please tell me i have stupidly missed a bleedingly obvious tutorial or link with all this info?

authserver and the world one will one connect --> not passwd/user, that's okay, but this "In mysql_stmt_prepare() id: 8, sql: "INSERT INTO account_banned VALUES (?, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(), UNIX_TIMESTAMP()+?, 'EmuCoach realmd', 'Failed login autoban'" for instance... only semi-unhelpful comments i can find are 'have you applied patches' .... where/what are patches and where does it say how to? is this the v2.0 sql at the top of post #2 with 'if you need it here it is'? do i need it? how do i use it? another part of the world error for eg: "DatabasePool emucoachworld NOT opened."

nothing works as 'just d/l and unzip it all, click three executables and play!' no client help, no DLLs, no concise tutorials.

so yes, GREAT effort in producing a few gigs of data and the work apparently into it, but VERY FRUSTRATING on the how-to side, once you have done it once for a particular 'build' / repack / emulator, easy, traps understood, but until then... WHAT?

Dragonsoul is in development and on the latest VIP version the portals works partial, but not on the regular repack.

Not completely sure if I understand, but the Database link was missing for some reason, but it's fixed now

It's really simple actually. On the first post, just head to the download links, download them, and follow the steps on the youtube videos. You shouldn't be using V1, or V2, but the links provided on the first post (version 6).

Hi hi, thanks for the respone,
i got quite frustrated yesterday with something that was meant to be so simple, yes,
but, i did download the links at the top, once they all finished i went to the D/L folder then watched the youtube, it shows a different version, of course, but as i mentioned 'open three executables once everything is unzipped', so did that, i did not have any _server for mysql etc, so then i saw the 2nd #2 thread stating the v1 and v2 of the _server, this i though was separate, just to run mysql / structures, so i d/led v2, the latest... so i am guessing this is where the problem was, that the links at the #1 contained a sql but one of my downloads failed so after unzipping everything is was not there!? i will check again tonight...

the bit i meant about tutorial, is the whole client thing, there is no tutorial saying 'this is how you set up your client', there are only googled references to 'patched EXEs' and dodgey pirate torrents and the libea#dlls, no 'do this, else that' for them, just downloaded different ones through google until i found one that worked, the ones linked in support and 'you should read this' did not work for me. so yes, very simple, d/l everything, unzip, launch 3 exe's... BUT for the dlls? the client 'patching'? the version (15595) assumed not explicit since the DVD is not 4.3.4 at 15595 flat, is 4.8.4 (less than 15595) in my instance, the reallist WTF setting, the mlf files settings...

these are not in a tutorial and somehow assumed... i can make one if a concise one does not exist !?, but coming back to WoW emulation after 3+ years, when it was mangos was besterest and had to compile ones self even tweak some source code, this easy repack ended up being not so - esp, since post then blizzard altered the log-in bits to mandatory battle.net etc etc too, so coming in practically 'new', with 'just unzip and click', of course it was not so simple and somewhat not obvious.

again, very good effort in this repack for what i can see, and i will get back to it in a few hours when back there and re-check where the #1's server link 'went' in case thats the main issue.

Been using the new version for probably five minutes now and I've already found a massive bug. Playing an unholy death knight, and there is something REALLY messed up with rune regeneration. On my screen all my runes are up and able to be used, but when I try to use an ability I have an error "Not enough runes." This is very major as it makes unholy completely unplayable. Not sure if frost and blood have the same issue, I'll test it out later. If you need video to see what I'm talking about I'll be happy to record what I'm talking about and show you.

Can't seem to confirm this. Feel free to make a video to show it exactly.

NOTE:
I've tested it once again, and I could yet not confirm. The situation just simply doesn't happen to me, and works pretty well to me.

NOTE:
I've tested it once again, and I could yet not confirm. The situation just simply doesn't happen to me, and works pretty well to me.

While I was recording it was working fine for about two minutes so I just trimmed the clip down to where it started bugging out.

Is there a way I can download V4 of the repack? I think that's when it worked the best... I've found more things that are broken in V6 that used to work.

i don't think that V4 it's currently avaible for download, and we will like to know exactky how it worked best for you

(Example: Spells worked Better, Etc) BC a lot of stuff are added until now, and even more for the most actual 6.2, questing movements and spells has been improved a lot, but i guess that you have a point that we must know to check in wich part was made wrong, correct is from wises i guess
