First off, awesome work! The best one I've tried so far.

Is there a better version of this available in VIP? I've been testing it out for a week or more now, got a warrior and mage to L85 no problems - after increasing the exp gain rate. However, there are quite a number of quests that are also not working, esp in the Northrend area. Yes, I know this is Cata and cataclysm zones, instances and such are a priority but I'm just wondering if the Northrend area will also be fixed. Right now, I am alone in my server and I haven't even invited my friends to play because I want to test everything first, as much as I can - profession and class leveling.

Also, is there a way to back-up my character or account database?

In just a couple of days (probably ~~ 5 days), version 10 will be released, and I can tell you that quests are one of the things we worked on a lot :)

Hmm.. Question to the Devs... Is there a proper list available for things that are working or not working and extra features in the VIP version. What I mean is a list of dungeons/battlegrounds In-game features etc and if the bosses are scripted and what not Not just for the Cataclysm content but previous expansion content as well? I tried clicking on the link that says we can view updates on different versions by clicking here but it just brings me to buy VIP. I'm not going to put money into something unless I can see what works and what doesn't. I also read the post about version 10 going to come out soon but the latest posted is only version 7 I'll probably download it and try it but if there is a list available that would save a lot of time.

Worgen area for the free version at least is a bit rough. NPCs in general seem to not have functioning pathing/automation AI - they'll all just stand where they spawn until you interact with them. Some enemies will stand in place until you attack (even red flagged enemies). No NPCs will wander about. Emberstone village enemies lay down until engaged, like they were sleeping, lol. Phasing seems a bit wonky, as before I even get the cutscene showing the Forsaken Ships, there are Forsaken Invaders all about. The stockade area after the church fight and cinematic is broke, but manageable with the gm command work around, though you do miss some of the dialog. The quest you get in the Blackweald - Preparations, requires you to loot Moonleaf from bushes around the giant tree, but they are all blank - nothing to loot. Worked around that just by adding the items to inventory via GM command. The Battle for Gilneas City won't start. Kearnan only says "All is lost", going to GM mode and attempting a reset doesn't fix this, although humorously, it does spawn another set of soldiers on top of the existing ones, so if you do the rest several times, you get this overlapping effect, most noticible with the swords, being fanned out as they idle at different points.

I don't know if any or all of this has been addressed already, either free or VIP version. Just wanted to report on what I've experienced. Also, if it works for others in the free version, is there anything on my end that might be bollixing things up? Is there a log or anything I can submit that might shed light on what happens?

I'm waiting for V10 to release before trying this repack. Another forum section here has patch notes/ looks like a great deal has been fixed since v7

But hopefully there will be a new free version release soon for everyone else. Personally, I think the free version should have the latest early game fixes. Blizzard gives free level 1-20 on the live servers, which seems like a good model for this repack as well.
