It used to be the case that the cracked executable would serve as a minimal client to download the full data, but since blizz has changed their data structure, it seems that's no longer the case (in reference to my post yesterday about the link). So, the best solution, as Zim suggested, is to check the uwow site for the torrent. Or alternatively, other server sites around the web that host client downloads.

What is the uwow website? Is it called something else? I'm doing a lot of searching and downloading lots of clients only to find out they don't work.

is obligated to download the mmaps, maps and .... for the server start or i can use the trinity extractors???

The extractors that are built with a particular core are specific to it's respective client/build, so you will need to download the data that comes with this repack.

Can someone help me figure out how to get my client to talk to my server on a dedicated computer? My client is on my gaming computer and my server is on my game server computer. It is saying: We couldn't log you in with what you just entered. Please try again (BLZ51900003) UPDATE: I am now stuck at logging into game server after creating a "battlenet" account. I am using an Unix network switch called "OPNSense" without a firewall, if that helps.

If you are connecting externally (not on the same computer as you're hosting on), make sure to change LoginREST.ExternalAddress= to your server IP in the config file of battlenet.

Unfortunately, it is still stuck at logging into game server even though I have it set to my server IP.
