Sure, it will take as long as it needs to take to be up to your standards, and I have huge respects for all your work. But hearing false hope definitely hurts.

Please be patient.. MoP barely has any open source development or development at all, we had/have to do most things from scratch..

Sure, it will take as long as it needs to take to be up to your standards, and I have huge respects for all your work. But hearing false hope definitely hurts.

The answer is simple; Quality. We had to rewrite huge parts of the core that we didn't expect at the time of writing the original post. Nothing about this is "hype-bait".
Things come up, and instead of releasing shit we want to do release it somewhat properly.

Keep in mind the developers work of their good will to the community, so motivation is the key here. Your post is not exactly the best motivation if you are waiting for the release, just saying :)

Yes budy, this comunity is the best because it does not matter how long it takes to get a new server, what is worth is the sacrifice and good will that our servers are the best.

You have to understand from a programmer's point of view. It's not just standards. Things go wrong all the time. You fix one bug, and 20 more pop up.
Unexpected errors can occur, that you didn't even know where a problem until a specific feature is added.

Fear not, the mid-November/December release seems like a pretty solid estimated release date. It hasn't really had a specific date in mind since the idea came out. And when it does come out, I'm sure it will be a fantastic repack. And just wait until it becomes as developed as the Cataclysm repack has :gem:

Yes budy, this comunity is the best because it does not matter how long it takes to get a new server, what is worth is the sacrifice and good will that our servers are the best.

I know it is frustrating waiting for the new release, especially on a new expansion release, but think what it would be like it it was release with tons of major issue making it unplayable.
I would rather wait and let the devs do what needs to be done to address the major problem and produces as good release.

Then is when we the community can pitch in to and do our part to help find all the little bugs, broken quests, etc... that the devs do not have the time or resources to test for.

I'm glad you guys are taking your time with this even tho I want the repack badly. The JadeCore leak is still available to play and while its a hackjob it DOES have a very large majority of spells/skills working.

I have a feeling the devs aren't going to release it until the initial release is at least better than the JadeCore leak.

Hi there...
I am dying for this, and wasting a lot of time trying Legion repacks (Have not found one with working quests)

Does anyone know where I can get a good MoP repack from?
Or can recommend any great post-Cata repacks?

Still playing V9.1 Cata, and it's by far the best repack around!

As KS212 mentioned the MoP Jadecore is workable. Lots of hack and workarounds but somewhat playable.
I believe it is only in the VIP lease section of the forum. If you don't want to become a VIP/VIP Gold member you may be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet just be careful what you are downloading and from where.

I setup a JadeCore based server and play around for about a day before I got sick of using GM commands to get things working. Do not remember which version is was but most of the Pandaren staff did not work.

Workable/playable is not good enough for me :p , i like it all alive!, waypoints, visuals, scripts etc :D

I've been to many sites... tested different repacks... and man I must say, I'm glued to these folks. Cataclysm is such a good shining example of their work. Dedicated, delightful, dependable, devoted, diligent, driven... quite simply divine! (Ok my pea brain ran out of positive words starting with "D" but you get the point...) Definitely worth the wait! Meanwhile I'll just continue looking like a real life panda with my eye-bags in the World of Real Life...

About the login system...if you could have the server run as free until otherwise told that would be great. Meaning if an internet connection can't be found the server will run in free-mode by default. Reason is what happens if you lose your install and then don't have internet for some reason? The repack would be completely useless.

Before you write this off as "never happening" it's happened to me many times. I have to drop an ISP (because they suck), or the internet is out for maintenance, and in the meantime I can't play games because they require "one time" online access. It's a real annoyance for me and really puts me off of games. Many of those games I've never played once because of this. Please consider it.

Possibly have it as no login for the basic repack but if there is a update feature built in , make it so you need to to log in to update the repack. I seen somewhere a 3.3.5 server that added all mounts up to legion and had the gear as non stat gear you could just use for transmog ..allowing you to have a lot more variety. That would be pretty cool .. i don't know how hard it is to implement but i think the update files i downloaded for the 3.3.5 client are around 9-10gb.

One of the 3.3.5 servers i play with has transmog guy and a option in the config file that allows you to control how he acts.
