4.3.4 client [Fast Way]

It didn't work. I believe it was a client placed out there by Molten-wow.
the .mfil file looks like this

version=2
server=limelight
location=http://blizzard.vo.llnwd.net/o16/content/wow-pod-retail/EU/15050.direct/
server=akamai
location=http://ak.worldofwarcraft.com.edgesuite.net/wow-pod-retail/EU/15050.direct/
manifest_partial=wow-15595-0C3502F50D17376754B9E9CB0109F4C5.mfil

I changed the first server to localhost and first location to http://127.0.0.1 and deleted the rest(akamai etc.) and saved. I started the client and says "Cannot stream archive data. Please check Network Connection."

Did you try to have it exactly like this?:

version=2
server=localhost
location=http://127.0.0.1

Does the Client you posted in this thread work without internet connection?

I believe it might be that my client is locked.
I am asking if the client you posted in this thread is unlocked.

I have found WoWFreakz has a torrent of 4.3.4 that is Direct Play and Archived. I take it that that means no internet connection is required to start the client. I'm in the process of downloading it and will post the link to it if anyone needs. Of course its up to you guys :D

I got the WoWfreakz client to work without internet connection. It works and it connects just fine to the server and repack :)
I seem to have a problem as the worldserver hangs occasionally. How do I post a full Crash report? I wish to figure out exactly why its crashing and see if we can fix it.

I just downloaded this, when I open the exe it creates a process entry that I can kill. But nothing happens. Thought it might take a while or something - left it for 45 minutes and nothing happened. Not sure hwat the go is with it to be honest.

Would really like a working client :)

edit: Okay, I re-started my machine and tried again. Got a wowerror window. Error #134

edit2: Did a bit of googling. I found a post to 'untick read-only on the folder', did that. Fixed. Works fine! Maybe if you have a TPB account you can mention that on the torrent? :)

Sounds good. Well does it happen upon worldserver launching OR after some time ingame?

Can you open up your mfil and wtf in both enGB and enUS folders and post the settings here please? so we won't have to download the whole WowTweaks or whatever and make it work

Could you elloborate?
WoW.mfil is not the one storing the data, it's just declaring the expansion.

In fact, you should release the ones for MOP, 5.0.5, 5.4.8) etc I think that'd be useful for emucoach users atleast.
