Did the worldserver.exe fully load up, might be a dumb question just trying to rule things out. Because just because it accepts the account information, only means the authserver is online.

Did you change the realmlist inside the auth database from 127.0.0.1 to whatever your IP is if you're accessing it remotely?

The MySQL is more updated then the MoP v2 version, but unless you know how to transfer the database over, I wouldn't worry about it. This is more useful for those who make repacks, or need a quick and portable web server :)

Hello everyone, I was bored and had some extra time this morning, so I decided to update the old portable server for MySQL/Apache/PHP that a lot of people have used for the better part of the last decade. It was extremally outdated, and trinity core for example no longer supports that version...

Are you running the server locally? If so, what are the specs of your computer and how many bots if any do you have online?

Yeah I personally don't use the repacks, but I have heard good things about them! And the bot system is amazing for a small group of friends who want to run content but might have enough people :) If you have any questions, don't be scared to ask! There's a lot to learn when you're new :)...
