VIP Repack questions

Been seriously considering getting this as CATA is my favorite but I don't like playing without playerbots(currently running the 3.3.5 spp with playerbots server) so my questions are

1) can you use characters from your account and/or guild as bots? Or is it just random bots?

2) How much more RAM is needed over the cata repack without bots assuming no random bots are running and only 4 account bot for dungeons are active

3) When the vip membership is up do I lose access to the downloaded repack? or just future updates of it?

I only have 4gb of ram which is enough for the sites free cata repack and the 3.3.5 with 40 random bots that I currently play on. Thanks for all the help!

To my knowledge, they are random playerbots, not based on any characters from different accounts. You can give them armor and such as well, either in game through commands or trading or through config file, I can't remember since it's been a while.
As for the RAM, I've never checked, especially since I've got 32gb, so it was never a concern, sorry that I can't help you there.
When VIP membership is up, you will no longer be able to re-download the repack or download any future updates. So technically you will lose access to it on the forums, but as long as you have it downloaded, it's yours to keep, so I'd recommend keeping a backup.

I really wouldn't know for sure, but if you play with 40 random bots on a 3.3.5, then I would imagine that 4 bots for dungeons should be enough. I can't promise that though. Maybe someone else on the forum would have a better guess as to how much is needed.
Have you ever experienced any RAM related issues on the current free version of the cata repack, or the 3.3.5 repack with 40 bots? If so, I'd definitely be a little hesitant on purchasing it. Otherwise, if I were in your shoes I'd probably go for it.

Would probably recommend upgrading that RAM though in the near future

I think I'll wait to see if there is an option to use own characters as bots, That's how the 3.3.5 is and it makes it more fun in my opinion.
I plan on upgrading RAM, if I had a tower or laptop it would be upgraded already but even using my manual I can't get this all in one open lol

To my knowledge, there are no plans for using current characters as bots. I'm not in the dev loop, but I don't think bots will be upgraded at all in the near future, except for bug fixes.
The bots are fine in my opinion. However that could be a good suggestion, but I wouldn't wait on it. If you want to submit a full suggestion, then please post it here: https://www.emucoach.com/forumdisplay.php/21-Suggestions-amp-Feedback - personally I'd love to see more bot options

I used to use an alienware gaming laptop, it had 16gb RAM but I still bought a tower. I've already upgraded the power supply, and plan on upgrading the GPU and RAM (32 is more than enough, but I'm trying to get a top-tier PC) within a year or 2.
Both are/were are damn good investment. I would definitely recommend upgrading. Don't be like me and upgrade on credit though hew:
