v13 VIP human hunter pet dissapears?

Pet always dissapears after flying and seemingly randomly?

windows 7 x64, client conncted on win 10 x64

resummoning doesn't work ):

Also having an issue with using .additem on a level 3 GM account? (fixed after restart)

Seems to affect pets in general after flying also and they also seem to not follow off any hight or attempt to run a way around to catch back up ?

also wanted to add, HeidiSQL would not apply changes so I had to use navicat trial to set the correct IP

Are you flying on a flying mount, or with the .gm command (.gm fly on)?

That is blizzlike. You must learn the Control Pet at level 10 before it becomes visible

It happens in all cases of flying, even when I spawn it fresh on a reloaded server, pets, hunter pet will not follow me off balconies and such for instance in Stormwind after leaving the flightmaster!

It seems to get stuck and will even be there after I've ran across the city and back!

While I agree on retail the pet reappears when you use a flight master, have you tried using the call pet skill and selecting the pet? Played a hunter myself a little bit and have used call pet to summon the pet back.

[MENTION=18005]Zer0[/MENTION] There is also a problem where the pets kwont follow you from ledges for instance if I took a pet out then went into stormwind from there they never leave the balcony!

also my pet was unable to walk off this ledge, a few days later I return and it is still there but unable to even be selected? (It is also completely still)

The hunter pet does work with call pet but it also has to do strange movement like walking in the air to pass over ledges, which is okay since at least it does work

There is also problem with normal pets, they will not go from some ledges or try to , they just wait there and when I relogin they are there but you cant click them

I'm 90% sure blizzlike behavior is pets reappear when you land from a flight path or flying in general. Going off memory here as I can't find any videos from the Cata era of people just playing the game. Pretty sure theres a glow on the pet when they reappear.

Also when I played a warlock before level 10 I had issues with getting the warlock pets to do anything at times. Like summoning a void walker or fel guard they just stood there like they were on passive and wouldn't attack or defend me at all.

Yeah okay. I will need a blizzlike video of this behavior though :s because it's going to be a pain to implement, so I don't want to spend tons of time on it, in case it's not even blizzlike. Hopefully that makes sense

I found a Cata era video where a guy plays a hunter and he actually flies around. No glow like I thought, pet just kinda appears from inside the hunter.

About 4:10 is when he disengages flying on his mount.

Draenor Era Video

The Draenor era video I found around 2:04 or so he lands off a flight path. Pet just reappears on top of him. Must have been Legion or BFA I remember the pet giving a slight glow when you land and they reappear. Hope those videos help as I've done just a little bit of programming and I know thats gonna be a pain.
