Trinity going to 6.x

What do you guys think about trinitycore's decision to focus on 6.x branch

as per this post: http://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/10582-6x-is-now-the-supported-branch/

We have made the decision of going forward with the 6.x branch. We'll be archiving (1) current 3.3.5 and 4.3.4 branches and our focus will be on working in the 6.x branch

I actually think it can be a nice idea to move on from the 3.3.5, and since they don't really work on 4.3.4 much at all, I think it could be a very good idea to switch to 6.x, waiting suprisely to see the results of it.

I don´t have much understanding about the core. If you make changes to 6.x doesn't the changes also apply to the older cores?

No ... Each core is coded separate

I'm buzzy with the configuration of a trinity 6 server. In my opinion it's a good decision becouse it will make's the project more relevant to the current situation.

It will definitly make the project more relavant BUT there a still to much bugs in 4.3.4 so i think its even more work to finish a realy playable 6.X Core.
