I've got an issue im trying to manually patch a 3.3.5a client up to 4.0.0.1 i've downloaded the patch and when i click the updater it throws this error does any one know how to do it?

" The installer does not need to be applied. It requires a version of "WoW.exe" older than 5.0.0.0, but you already have version 5.4.2.17688. "

my client is 3.3.5A

I've personally not been updating patch since 3.3.5 to 4.0.6, and I can barely remember the process. I was able to find a TC guide, but that's 3.3.5 to 4.3.4, and is obviously not what you're looking for since I get that you cannot download a 434 torrent since you may want patch 4.0.0.1. Either way, here it is if you are interested anyways:

But if you check it, there are different patches so perhaps it could come in handy for you? As you see;

If you need further information, let me know. It's 1 AM so I'm pretty sloopy in my answer right now (tired)[/FONT]
