Hello everyone,

This is a project that I've been working on for the last month or so. It's a custom server aimed at creating an open-world environment for world PVP, economy and progression.

It's based in the Hinterlands but has been modified using a variety of editing tools to suit the purpose of the server. For PVP, there are the Horde and Alliance factions that have progression and reputation tied to them. You can progress by playing battlegrounds and arenas, engaging in world PVP and doing related quests that you'll find in the faction towns. For PVE, the Amani troll tribe has invaded the Hinterlands and has taken over control of large portions of the map. The Shatterspear Tribe function as a neutral faction and you can build your reputation with them to progress on the PVE front. Right now, I am in still in testing and quite a few of the features are still being worked on but I am thinking that the server will be near a complete state within the next two or so months. Currently, I need testers to come and jump on to help test out PVP, arenas, battlegrounds and class balance. Any person that does help out with testing in these testing phases will be rewarded with a few otherwise unobtainable cosmetics as a thank you upon release.

Anyway, to list off a number of the features that are either finished or being worked on...

  • The cap is level 20 and there is no leveling.

  • Spells and abilities are from level 1 through 24 and there are also a bunch of other handpicked spells and talents for balance and class flavor.

  • Every class has custom talents - there are a lot of different playstyles to choose from.

  • Multiple tiers of well-balanced custom gear with well thought-out progression for acquiring it.

  • A crafting system that is tied to all parts of the game. Each character can choose one profession (Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Enchanting and Jewelcrafting for the time being) and can acquire recipes from both PVP and PVE. The materials required to make items drop from enemies around the world, dungeons, and raids as well as from caches from arena and battleground wins.
  • A lot of the gear and items are also tradable, meaning you can get armor from certain professions, enchants and item enhancements from others, etc

  • An open world designed specifically to be large enough to house a few hundred players but small enough to allow for competition and organic world PVP. There are some handmade towns and structures as well as preexisting ones from the original Hinterlands

  • There are quests, an open world dungeon, rares and bosses, a free-for-all PVP arena with a chest event, dungeon and raid entrances and a PVP sanctuary hangout that houses PVP vendors and arena NPCs.

  • A rewarding and engaging PVP system. Battlegrounds, arenas, world PVP and the likes will have you always working towards new items, achievements, and other vanity things. There are the Rank 1-14 titles tied to Honorable Kill achievements, high tier gear locked behind arena rating requirements and plenty of other things to do.
