server running but client PC won't connect

It seems I am having that issue that windygamer was having. I have the repack running stable on a standalone PC in my basement. I am able to create accounts using the CLI and I am able to log into all those accounts on that computer. So, in that sense the repack is running.

My connection issue is with the PC that I want to connect with. I am able to log into the server on the upstairs computer where you get to the realm selection screen. I click on the realm to connect but it just hangs. I have spent the last 3 nights changing DLL's, configuring IP addresses and I am still stuck.

Here's my setup. The DSL from my provider connects to their Comtrend router. I have 1 ethernet cable running from that into a Cisco Catalyst (WS-C3550-12T 10/100/1000). (I work in the industry selling this hardware so I can get it cheap). I have all in-wall CAT6 from 4 pc's in my house running into a patch panel in the basement and then into each port on the switch. I can direct connect to the PC through windows and transfer files to shared folders, so there is a connection there. I even did a "ping" test and it passed. I can also host a server for games like Ark, Minecraft etc where my kids can log into my world.

There's definitely something there preventing me from connecting.

Any idea's?

The issue ended up being HeidiSQL. The changes I made to the realmlist in the db wasn't sticking. So, I downloaded Navicat Mysql editor, made the changes to the realmlist and it works. I have successfully logged into the server from 4 different computers in the house.
