Server on a Pi3?

So noob question, search did not yeild results, although maybe beig on mobile makes it harder, but can you set up the server on a ras/pi3? Not to have 100s of players, maybe 4-6 people at most.

I would love to set up a server but sadly my tower staying on is not healthy on my electric bill.


Would love some advice, help, or to be pointed in the right direction.

You can set it up, i would guess you get slow loading speeds though.

I've read that someone successfully did it. Hosted server on a Pi3 for ~5 people. No latency issues. As I own one myself I want to try it out aswell. It is hard to find an actual guide to do it that is not outdated, but most repositories and files are still there. I guess you could try any linux compiling guide. I will try this one as it is most recent LINUX GUIDE. Good luck.
