So, I'm trying to make a web design just for shits n gigs.
Wanted your guys' opinion on it so far, it's not finished yet also i'm pretty new to this so suggestions etc are welcome!

Not bad! I like that the navbar "sticks out" like it should.
You should however make the font smaller...

Not bad at all bud. I would have to agree that the font should be a but smaller on the nav bar to give it a more sleek and clean look rather than it kinda giving out that hey look at me feel ya know. Do u plan to do the coding portion of this as well or just the gfx portion ?

Considering that you're a beginner, and you are trying to improve I would say it looks great. Now I'm not being a photoshop expert or anything either, but it's a great start for sure!

The font you are using should indeed be smaller. (Not only on the navigation bar)

Generally, this is a very good design if it is your first!

Anyhow, made the font a bit smaller on nav bar
