Hi there,

I was thinking about learning how to script in WoW priv server databases and I was wondering, where should I start. Which language should I learn first, on what topics and aspects should I focus?

Hi @xaryon, I started with SQL which allowed me to edit and create, fix SQL scripts manually. Which help me a lot, I would also try learn the structure of the database your going with which also helps a lot.

I tired to learn C++ but switch'd to Java since I was more interested in Java at the time, both in which are similar languages.
But I would encourage you to learn C++ since your interested in WoW emulation.
