Hello everyone at EmuCoach!

We have officially moved to a new forum software, to one that is more updated and user friendly. We had some issues with the old forum software, including a bug that prevented some VIP users from getting their rank automatically - This issue should no longer occur! Everyone who donates should get their VIP status set within a few hours, if not immediately (If it takes longer than 24 hours, send a PM with all purchase info, including paypal email, to our forum admin, ExO.)

This new design and forum software will allow a lot more, in terms of new plugins and features. Over the next few days, we will be looking through to add good features from the old forum software, plus new ones.
If you have ideas for what the forum could use, please feel free to reply to this thread with them.

Features we're already looking into adding: (As long as they are do-able)
  • Homepage
  • Public Chatbox
  • Post-'Thanks' system
  • Features to improve the site's efficiency
  • Discord link - So VIP members will automatically get their rank in the EC Discord

We're always looking to improve EmuCoach, and changing the forum software was definitely a step in the right direction. It might take time to get used to it, especially for us staff members, so please be patient. Make sure to take a look around, and enjoy!

So glad to be moved over to to XenForo, much faster and easier for staff and users than vBulletin. Happy it's happened!

Glad to hear guys! Still fixing up the last things, and making new updates.

Some updates:
- Implemented hide tag button in the editor, so you can hide your topic text/link, if wanted, until the user replies.
- Fixed footer links & text
- Fixed most important former links to redirect properly. Still need to do it for each section and more topics to prevent 404.
- Added the donation page in the navigation at the top.
- New favicon

Some ToDo's:
- User rank images
- User rank colors
- User rank promotions
- User rank permissions
- Technical server updates (for faster loading)
- More SEO work (on-page structure).
- More plugins & features
- Fix important threads using old bbcodes that no longer work + colors that don't fit.
- Verifiy 'Password Reset' function.
- Add a homepage like before.

I'll have to get around to fixing my Sig now. ;)

Caching has been enabled on the server & site. Should hopefully speed it up even more.

Yes, as far as I know, it disappears after a while as soon as you look at it
Here the latest posts remain active until you have read them

Its only a personal preference

I like the new layout as it is easy to navigate, unlike the previous design. it is also faster at loading.

So far, we have added the following:
  • Shoutbox
  • Colored usernames based on user rank
  • Discord integration - Link your discord account HERE - this allows your rank to update automatically, now allowing regular VIP members to post in the discord server!
  • More profile customization options
Soon to add:
  • User rank promotions - From 'Member' to 'Senior Member' etc.
