Mr. Robot [TV Show]

I am curious to know if I'm the only one here who's following the show, "Mr. Robot"
For those who doesn't know about the show, taken from imdb:
"Mr. Robot follows Elliot, a young programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the corporation he is paid to protect."

I really loved season 1, the start of season 2 was a little disappointing seeing it was in my opinion too far away from the actual topic, the story was taken a bit too far out, but in episode 3+ it has in my opinion returned.

Am I the only one watching it around here?

I watch it and I think season 2 is getting good from ep. 4 considering the slow start in the first episodes, about to watch e6 in just a little bit as it released today. Great series, give it a shot if you haven't, season 1 is a 10/10 all the way through!

I totally agree! Honestly the start episodes of season 2 was so weird, I was wondering what I was watching. It was in my opinion taken way too far with his social issues. Episode 4 and 5 was great, but without spoiling for you, I think episode 6 was quite strange. It had quality at some points, but the start was quite weird, and took almost half of the episode. You'll see .)

I watched both seasons, started out great, I don't think I will be watching season 3. I wouldn't say it is a 10/10 series, it is a little hum drum, very plebeian and insulting at times. They show Linux in a negative light, used by haxorz which bugs me. Also the whole "every show must contain gay people" really puts me off. I get that it is the "in" thing right now, and while I accept the fact they exist, I don't like it being shoved down my throat every show and movie I see now. It turns my stomach. While I don't hate, I still don't want to see it in everything. I also didn't care for the fact that home-dude is crazy seeing people that aren't there. It is a solid show, 6/10 better than most, but it could be better. Too much song and dance, not enough meat and potatoes, but that's every show these days. More drama than normality. Mountains out of molehills moving too quickly at times too slow at others. To me if a story didn't have a love interest at all, neither straight nor gay, I would be fine with it. Honestly I felt very put off by it, and otherwise bored. It's a good show if there is nothing else on, but it's not Dexter, no matter how hard it tries to be. It's not House no matter how witty they think they are being. It feels like a knockoff of those shows, following a formula that didn't sit well with viewers. Like the writers took the formula that those shows abandoned because they personally liked it. Which I guess is good if you like that sort of thing, it doesn't cater to the lowest common denominator. If you like seeing what the show offers, it can be great for you. I feel that there will be a cult following of it while others just detest it overall. It is not for me, but if you love it great! I love that we have people with differing interests, I love people .
