Holiday events and triggering them

I was wondering if anyone knows how to turn on holiday events or to trigger them manualy, I am running v7 4.3.4 and I can't seem to find anything, randomly some holiday characters (eg Darkmoon rep, valentine quest giver, and one other) will show up, but it seems like they might be broke, you can't actually get to the Darkmoon faire without a .tele to get you there. I have looked for maybe a command but haven't come up with anything.

The easy way I've found, without altering the db, would be to simply change the current date on your pc.
That is, in accordance to the calendar, or the date of a particular holiday.

Dannnnngggggg I really hope there is a way to force it, or to create new events or something lol

*ALSO* if anyone knows why the holidays for the most part don't show up on the calendar I'd love to know a fix lol, just a bunch of fishing competitions and the Christmas event and 4th of July. Other than that nothing.

That was just what I intended to do. Change from tasks to events. They are much more flexible and adapted to my needs. But now an issue came up: Can I convert the tasks to events? Or do I have to repeat everything from scratch?
