Hello All,

I am new to the forum and am a private server owner which runs multiple game servers for around 20 - 30 people. i am based in the UK and i hope all are friendly in this community.
I found this forum when looking for a Wow Private server to host for the above people and so far have been impressed with how these are looking. Not currently running any of these repacks but when i find time i will look to do so If permission is allowed but will always credit yourselves as the makers.

Our main concern about others using the repacks for private servers, is when people use the EC repack, gain money from it, and pretend it's their own core/server that they developed. As long as you give credit to EC, I believe there's no problems with that.

Hope you enjoy the Cata repack. If you end up getting the VIP version though, you might want to disable bots if the server is going to be public, or else it could end up causing problems for server resources, or for PvP.

We would ensure that you are credited for the Wow server and as such a direct link from our website would be pointed at this website. We have some skilled people within our group but nothing like yours so we could never claim any credit for your repacks.. not to mention it's morally wrong in our eyes to lay claim to a server we never built.

If we did get the interest from the server we would be looking at donating to gain access to the VIP version and if we get any kind of money in as part of this then we would look to make regular donations to ensure this repack is kept updated/completed.

Also is Version 7.0 the current free version any ideas when v8 will become free?

We're not quite sure when v8 will be launched to the public. I think we started releasing public versions per milestone instead of every time we fix quests/bugs.
The current VIP version is v10. I think updates to both repacks were set on hold for a moment due to major issues and bugs found in a test run with about 1,000 people on a server that EC is doing. - This will in turn make the next vip update quite large with bug fixes.
