I'm going to make this post incredibly watered down and short, for effectiveness. I'm Issuntril/Haebus, and I'm a part of the CMaNGOS team (Issuntril on the site/IRC). Gryscry WoW is an absolutely newly founded private server, in it's absolute alpha stage. I'm running it off an insane dedicated server, with advanced DDoS protection and other water tight security measures.
However, I'm looking to form a team to help me with this project, as it is by no means a one man show. I've run several successful private servers over the years (anyone remember wowtopia, rulerz, or resolution wow?) and after a year or so out of the scene I'm back and looking to start again.
Extra information:
This is a WoTLK server using the CMaNGOS core. It will be a funserver, with a large amount of custom content obtainable through our PvP/PvE/Questing based token system, with the main focus on end-game and custom content. Players will be able to reach level 225, before then progressing onto our unique end-game content. People who join in the alpha stage and help get the project off the ground will be given a percentage of profits indefinitely. We're currently looking for SQL developers, C++ developers, ACID/SD2 developers, In-game content managers (ie. spawning NPC's etc), events/community staff, support representatives, web designers, and sales representatives.
Wait, donations?
Yes. However the economy will be skilfully and carefully managed and tended to which will ensure a fair and level gaming environment for both paying and non-paying players. I've been in the scene since the beginning, and I completely understand how to do this (not many do, yet claim to be able to).
Extra Services:
To create the best gaming environment possible for our players, we'll be adding the following services in due course:
* IRC server.
* Loyalty System (earn points simply by playing daily).
* Enhanced voting system.
* Weekly prize giveaways (some including cash/gift cards).
* Selective project funding.
* And much much more!
We've also added a teamspeak server to provide our players with the best gaming experience possible.

So what now, can I play?
Of course! Although we're in alpha stage, we encourage players to join the server and actively report bugs. And also, as a small incentive, the first 50 will get a special in-game reward! Although our main website is currently being designed, we have a temporary account registration page available at http://217.147.94.55 and our forums are live and can be found by simply visiting www.gryscry.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
