Fifty Shades of Grey

This movie was released a few years ago and being that I had not read the books I wasn't sure about watching the movie. With all the hype I guess curiosity got the better of me and I am now watching this to see what all the hype is about.

Has anyone seen this movie and what were your thoughts on it?

I haven't saw the movie I heard it was stupid and strayed away from the books from people who did see it , but I did read the books.

I heard the same thing myself which is why I feel I was more curious about the movie. I found the movie to be interesting in terms of storyline and the way they ended the movie ready for the next one, having not read the books though I couldn't compare but I am now interested in seeing just how the two compare so I am going to try and get hold of the books.

This was a movie all my friends raved about but I was never taken in by the hype. I read the books and liked them but hearing that they had turned the books into a movie I wasn't so sure about. Having now taken the plunge and watched the movie I can say that they did yes stray away from the books but I like how they took it with the movie and I also like how they have left it open for the sequel as well. I am more excited now for the sequel than I was the first movie but I feel that is because with the first movie I was a little dubious about watching it. Really looking forward to see how they work the next movie.
