Downloading game data

I, like most folk, am using the normal WoW clients that download data in the background. This is a genus move if you're playing online, but if you're playing in the country and don't have a internet connection, it's a bit of a pain.

Is there a way to force these streaming clients to go ahead and download ALL the necessary data instead of streaming the bits it needs over time? right now I'm playing the 5.4.8 client. I found most of the MPQ files and downloaded them, but I'm still missing about 500MB of patch files and can't figure out how to get them to go ahead and download while I have a connection instead of streaming.

I'm actually not even sure, I don't know if it would be possible like that, but if it is, it would probably have to be done in WoW.mtfil

However there is always the second option to download a full torrent for it and then you're finally done with downloading the data.
