- Weekly updates/fixes (database & core) to the Emucoach 4.3.4 repack.

Where are these weekly fixes?

They're being done... The repack is being worked on weekly. Then, we benefit from this in the next release.

Sorry, but as written, implies that weekly updates will be released.
The average is 3 months to be released each update. This becomes tiring.

Lists a lot of corrections, but does not have clear information on what works or does not work.

Imagine if someone is using this repack on a private server? I've seen posts informing even locking the server when entering instance.

I do not care to wait 3 months for a new update, but the lack of detailed information ends up discouraging.

For me who was translating the quests of the game, there is always the doubt in front of so much work.

Ok, I do see where you're coming from...
But to have something that so many people have worked on, and are continuing to work on... it shouldn't really be that much of an issue.

Look around at the repack scene, a lot of people promise weekly updates, ect... no one delivers on that, and most get abandoned.
What you have here is a dedicated team, who are working on this repack weekly, to gather all fixes into a single release.

For me, it's not discouraging at all, some team members are quite active, and do answer questions / provide small fixes if they can.
It doesn't make sense to release new releases each week, is everyone expected to come back and download the new release every week?
That would become overwhelming.

This is the most active working team I have seen, and I wont take that for granted.
I was more than happy to supply the team, who are working part-time or less, with the small admission fee that I did.
It should always be thought of as a donation.

In regards to the person running this as a private server: If it's that big of a private server, to where thousands or hundreds of people are playing, they should be in direct contact with the Dev team.
I would imagine that if a private server that big was being run, that they would compile their own, to do their own fixes in the back-end.
This is, and should be used for a small home use server, where updates can wait for a small length of time.

I actually feel guilty not donating more than I have.
It's hard work, and takes dedication, and time away from their normal lives.
I do hope the team know how much VIP's appreciate their work.

@Sikuri Thanks a lot for your nice words. Was a really good read, and posts like yours just motivates me to work even harder!

@sephiro You have a valid point though. I'd like to address it after we get the V10 released :). Thanks for your valid feedback!

If I forget, feel free to remind me in a few days by "@Exo" in this thread
