Nah, for real I had a lot of time before. Now I only really have time for one site.

I currently own just 1 website and that's all I plan on owning. My current website is a forum powered by the MyBB software and I am very pleased with it myself. I've always been a huge fan of forums and it feels great having one of my own. I couldn't cope with more than 1, I like to put all my time into my website and if I had multiple it just means less time for each website.

What kind of websites are you owning and do you see owning those websites more of a business than a hobby? I know some people create websites for the business side and try hard to create good profits while others create websites for a hobby and are happy paying for the bills themselves and not caring too much about making money.

A couple of weeks ago, I sold to a user known as Jason. He bought it for 100USD$. Has a large member base at 40,000 members.

So far I've owned somewhere around 5 sites, not including the free website hosting services (would be around 10 or so).
One of them actually had a slight community growing, which is surprising now that I think of it, considering what it was based on.
I created 2 or 3 other websites using the same account/host that got nowhere. They were just pointless ambitions that I didn't even try to build.
I then canceled the account, a few years later I tried again but ended up the same as the last.

I'm actually thinking of starting up another website, this time only as a personal site, not meant for a community. That'd only work if I ever get back on track with my computer science degree at college and learn a programming language other than Java. Or become a writer or something.
