Advertising bots?

So what's up with these bots that post something that seems like a virus?
They create a thread and post the same thing over and over, an example being:
http://www.emucoach.com/showthread.php?1361-Dichvusocks-us-Service-Seller-Socks-Good

Is that intentional to leave them there, is there some bonus from it? Or are they just ignored? I see them rather often and it's kind of annoying.

Just curious is all, and I'm not sure if this post would belong here, but why not.

It's actually an advertisement for a VPN service. and it is not advertising anything within viruses. so this is completely allowed.

I just figured that since the user/bot posted it over a thousand times, it couldn't be legit.
I can understand one or two posts, but it constantly posts it?

It is indeed a bot. but it's actually just notifying us about certain changes and such

Alright, well as long as it's not doing anything wrong, then I guess it's fine.
It just seemed a little weird to me at first because usually bots are banned from the site, so I was wondering why the bot was able to get 1000+ posts.

Never ever advertise with advertisment bots. It will have an massive impact your SEO. On the other hand, manual traffic is fine.
