Greetings fellow private server enthusiast,

i have recently acquired the 4.3.4 server repack and all runs fine.... so far...

the issue i seem to be having (and am hoping its a minor/easy to fix problem) is when i come to log in: it connects, it handshakes, it authenticates..... then i get "this world of warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use".

now this happens on the admin account supplied, one i created in the world server and the one i created via tools program.

does anyone have incite or has experienced this issue before and can help me with this problem, would be greatly appreciated.

kind regards,

HB.

check the account banned table may the server select you as a cheat

or the other thing is that you are banned because you wrongly enter the wrong password several times depending on how it is configured in authserver.config

Thank you for reply.

I cant have cheated as I have yet to login to the world server to play :hmm:
I have checked the database for anything relating to the accounts being banned and the data is empty (which i assume that means no accounts are banned)
this issue occurs on a freshly made account ie. user: test1 password: test2. so I haven't had the opportunity to get the password wrong more than once.

Is the realmlist set to 127.0.0.1? Is it possible you've been connecting to a different server by accident? - This is probably not the reason, but just to be sure.
Try these commands in the worldserver console:

It's possible that you've somehow accidentally IP banned yourself? Try unbanning an account first, if that doesn't work then try the IP

Thank you for your reply,

I tried the unban commands and they didnt seem to work. I double & Triple checked my wow client realmlist still set to 127.0.0.1.
I logged into the database and reset the realmlist back to 127.0.0.1 and hey presto we have a connection.
So I'm still confused to why this has happened, the only thing I had changed was the realmlist in the database (to allow network connections). after I managed to log in I logged off and shut the server down, back into the database and changed the realm list to my network IP and i am still able to log back in :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
anyways, I appreciate the help and am happy with the server thank you.

Honestly I'm surprised that worked. I didn't think it would be the realmlist, but I'm glad that got it fixed. Maybe something went wrong when the server started up when you changed the realmlist in the DB, but who knows. As long as it works now :gem:
