I've given the patches a quick test, and I'm getting a "Fatal Exception Error" when I use the patch labeled "wow-update-base-15000.mpq". I know this is a work-in-progress, so perhaps it will be rectified with a future update, but I figured I'd offer my feedback, as it may be an issue for others...
