i dont believe that the issue as i have gigabit. but either way now i dont really know what to do to actually connect to the server. i have a 3.3.5a client and i set the realm to the lan ip, but i cant make a character so im at a loss.

DL through Trion is painfully slow. sitting at 8 hours for 14000~ files of 26800~. still exited to play though.
